We`re sitting on the drive way, it`s 82 degrees and James says "I`m tired of winter.'

He followed that up by saying, "There isn't anything fun to do unless it snows." Meaning we can't go swimming or build a snowman which apparently are the only fun things to do...

Bi-monthly grocery day...

At the grocery store today...

Hannah: I want some of these!
Me: Sorry we don't eat fruit snacks. They give us cavities.
Hannah: But my grandma at church gives me them.
Me: Well one fruit snack a week is enough for one little girl.
Hannah: But all of my friends have fruit snacks.


Before we know it all her friends will have make up, cell phones, and cars. My mom's response (after laughing) "good luck with her."

Matthias: I want a smart car when I'm a adult.
Me: Only one other person can fit in it with you.
Matthias: I will take Kai. (his first born)
Kristi: What about your other kids and your wife?
Matthias: I'll only have Kai, he's the first kid I'm having so there won't be any others. And my wife will be at home watching for robbers, and she will fight them. Hiyah!
