Bubbles

First bubble bath=life is complete.

Hyrum loves bubbles. Now he randomly will just start yelling bubbles while dancing around an flinging his arms in the air.

The other morning at 4 am I woke up to "Bubbles! Dadada, bubbles!" He went on for 5 minutes or so with what sounded like some jumping in his crib. Fortunately no else woke up except me. It was hilarious.

Fist Day of Summer!

Our new favorite pool. It has this awesome wading pool with splash fountains and also a deep big kid pool. The boys spent most the time swimming IMs. It is a neighborhood pool in Austin which means it is FREE to swim. We will definitely be here everyday we are in Austin this summer. A blast!

School's Out!

End of school parties. Root beer floats, splash pads, bounce houses, petting zoos, amazingness.

Trader Joe's Anyone?

This little boy was beside himself with this cart. He was so happy putting items in and pushing it along. Best morning ever.

San Antonio Temple

Hannah, Hyrum and I ran down to San Antonio to visit the temple the week before school got out. It was a beautiful day and they loved to see the temple and the grounds. I have a wonderful friend who loves just a couple blocks from the temple so I was able to drop them off and go do a session.

Hyrum and I will have to do some more trips in the fall when all the kids are back in school. If we leave right after we drop them off we have just enough time to drive down, do a session, walk around, and drive home before school gets out.

Swim Season is Here!

"Mom! I got a ribbon!! This is the first ribbon I've ever gotten! Does dad know I was going to get a ribbon?" --Hannah

We had our first swim meet of the season on last Saturday and Hannah first swim meet ever. She beat her time on backstroke so she got a ribbon for her time improvement. She was so ecstatic. After we got home from practice Monday night she sat outside waiting for Taylor to get home so she could show him the ribbon. It was fun watching her race because she was just grinning her head off the whole way down the lane on backstroke. And she kept looking at us during her freestyle.

James got time improvements in all 3 of his events and took fifth in butterfly for 9-10 boys. He swam super fast, his best swimming I've seen. He has really been working hard this season at practice and it paid off.

Matthias got time improvements in breast and fly, placing 2nd in fly for 7-8 boys. His medley relay team took 3rd.

Hyrum screamed like a madman all morning and tried to escape whenever possible.

Love my swimmers.

This Boy Makes Me Happy

And while it may look like I am plugging my ears in frustration in the background I'm sure I was actually happy when this photo was taken (by James apparently?) and am just tucking my hair behind my ears. Let's remember it that way.
