Pet Sounds

Took the kids to Pet Sounds at Laguna Gloria yesterday. It was a beautiful day and so much fun with my kiddos.

Easter Dress

Hannah's lovely Easter dress plus my boys who don't have special Easter clothes and are totally fine with that.

Her dress is modeled after Anna's coronation dress on Frozen. Because the first time I saw that movie I am pretty sure I was drooling over that dress with all it's poofy, twirly, pleated amazingness. And so I created a pink, springy version of said dress. And Hannah and I basked in happiness and poofiness. It was wonderful. 

He Has Risen

We had a week full of festivities, scriptures, videos of Christ, Easter music and reflecting.

For our service projects this year we sang carols at an assisted living home while my mom was here. We also collected donations for the Austin Children's Shelter. 

We added a couple new books to our Easter stash. And a wonderful Easter story egg crate. 

The week was started with our Palm Sunday devotional as we sang Hosanna and waved our palm branches. Each night brought more remembering of our Savior's life, love, and sacrifice. 

We ended the week celebrating the amazing resurection of our Redeemer. So grateful to Him for His incredible gift that gives us immortality and allows us eternal life. Our Resurection Rolls to remember that the tomb was empty. He has risen. He lives again. 

Easter Bunny Day, Egg Hunt, What Taylor Did after Said Events

Of course with his little buddy right by his side. Awake, asleep, on face time, or just in his thoughts no one beats Daddy in Hyrum's eyes. 

Camping.

We went camping on Passover-Good Friday and had a great time. It rained all evening and most of the night but the sun came out Friday morning and we enjoyed a couple fun hikes. Taylor has all the pictures from hiking so I will have to post those later. We love camping together and being outside. It was a blast.

It's Always Fun When Grandma Comes!

My mom came to visit and we had so much fun! We worked out at the Y, walked along the Zilker Park trails, visited the Botanical Gardens in the pouring rain, dyed Easter eggs, played football, went swimming, Easter caroling at an assisted living home, started our Easter advent, went out for BBQ and Gordoughs!, James' honor roll assembly, watched Frozen, played Pocket Mine, talked, laughed, read.

Such a fun visit for everyone. We loved having her. Hope to play again soon! :)
