Home Sweet Home

We finally know where we are going! Here is a picture of the home we will be renting. I actually am pretty excited about renting for a while...much less stressfull picking out a place, we can save a bunch of money for a down payment, someone else has to fix stuff that breaks, etc. This home is a little bigger than our home (which unfortunately we still own...), but the yard is smaller. I think it will be perfect though.

Inside all the kitchen and bathroom countertops are granite. I knew the moment we walked in the owner must have a granite business. And I was right. The downstairs is one big huge room which will become our toy rooom/guest room. It has a full bath down there as well, so start planning your vacations to Denver! We have a gas fireplace and very best of all....a gas stove!! I am really excited about this. I love cooking on gas stoves!

I talked with the stake president and the bishop. They only have 70 kids in their primary, but hopefully we can still make some friends. =] Only one nursery, so that will be fun for the boys to go together until January. We live five minutes from any great store you can think of, five minutes from the light rail which Taylor will take to work, around the corner from the church, one block from the elementary, four minutes from a library (yeah!), and about eight minutes from a hospital that is only five years old (it is very fancy inside).

We live 7 hours 46 minutes from Salt Lake, 6 hours 37 minutes from Monticello, UT, 7 hours 52 minutes from Santaquin, UT, and 16 hours 15 minutes from Spring, TX. Plane tickets are super cheap from SLC to Denver and you can even find great deals from Houston to Denver.

It DOES sound perfect! If you HAVE to live so far from us, it seems like that will be the perfect location. :) So close to everything!

I forgot to add ten minutes from the temple. And by popular demand, 8 hours 29 minutes from Logan, UT.

How fun! I'm glad you guys found a place. I told you you should have rented your house to us until you sold it. But oh well. Good luck moving in...I'm still jealous you have people move you in and out.

Wow , I love the house, it looks really cute and homey. I'm so glad you have found a place to live and having it be so close to everything. We all miss you around here and everyone is still in shock that you guys have actually moved. Hopefully we will make a trip there sometime...maybe to look for jobs...who knows..jk!

Congrats on the move! Denver is a nice place, and we're jealous that you'll have the Rocky Mountains so close. Hiking in the Smokeys this summer just wasn't the same.

Nice job! That happened fast! It's the Harvey way, right? It looks perfect and sounds very convenient. We all really miss you guys. It's really sunk in; Sarah started school today and Spence was moping around lookin for James. We just might have to make a trip to Denver before our tickets won't happen for a while.
