Dinosaurs and the Moon

Delta Petroleum had a company day at the Natural History Museum here. We took the boys and had a lot of fun. The Museum was a really good one with lots of fun displays. The Space area was really neat and the boys loved being astronauts on the moon. We also saw a show in the planetarium. But near the end Matthias started crying and saying "scared" so I had to take him out. It was just a silly cartoon, but for some reason it was bugging him.

The dinosaur exhibit was also pretty neat. The boys loved looking at all the bones and of course climbing on the displays...=]

There were also TONS of exhibits with stuffed animals which the boys thought were really neat and a gems and mineral room. Plus the mummies which James thought were great.

We spent four hours looking at everything and we had no stroller and no bags!! Family outings are so much fun now and getting to be less work. Guess that's why we're having another one right? Getting too easy around here...=]

Family outings...yeah, they're nice with older kids. I was just thinking how great it is to go to the park now that I don't have to watch Ari's every move. Man. You're looking good though and I'm impressed with your getting-out-and-around-ness. Not you being round, you understand, just getting around. Yeah...
p.s. I said pumpkin pie, right?

I love the idea of an outing without a stroller and millions of accessories! Looks like a fun day!
