Seriously Loving This House!

Finally some pictures. Between visiting Texas for 3 days, packing/moving, and slowly reading a complete series (5 books) I have been neglecting the blog. But here are some photos. We love this house. I really like it a lot. I LOVE ranches. One story is so the way to go. I only miss my gas stove. But the mailman actually delivers the mail in a slot into my house! No more walking down the block. The yard is huge and amazing...quarter acre. The kitchen is great despite the electric stove. We are LOVING the commute. 15 minutes without traffic, 20 with. Love it. We do prefer carpet to wood flooring, but this is much better than the nasty carpet we had. Plus we got to buy some fun new rugs. =] And I am loving only have two bathrooms (so much less intimidating to keep clean) Enjoy...

Our room

Boys' room

Hannah's room

Hall bathroom

Living room (we sold our spectacular couches for a whopping $20 on craigslist and have yet to buy new ones, but they are coming and will be a post of their own. We are going to purchase new furniture that has not be previously owned by anyone. Or even sat on by another person. It's truly amazing.)

Dining Room (we actually have a dining room we are using for dining...)

Kitchen

Basement (the finished half. the other half has laundry, half bath, storage, food room, Taylor's workshop)

New couches? Way to go!! That's wonderful! Your house looks great. Your quilt is still inspiring me to get on with it and make one of my own. I love it!

And yet 18 months later I still need to bind said quilt. Maybe before the end of the year?

What a gigantic covered porch! And I bet it isn't even humid so you can actually sit on it! When it's not snowing...

I love those wood floors. That place looks like it has tons of space! Happy couch hunting. It took us 9 months to select our first non-used couch once we finally decided to buy one. For having such low seating standards, we sure were picky! Happy shopping!

I really like that hutch in your dining room.
