Hannah is sitting now and loving life. She loves to sit and play with toys and the boys. And she loves eating...sometimes she isn't very interested in her bottle because she wants to eat all the yummy stuff...bananas, applesauce, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and pears. She sleeps great (7:30 to 6:30) and takes 3 naps. She has her "magic" blankie that she loves and can't live without. I'll have to get a picture of it on here soon. She has to have it to sleep...we even bought a miniature so she now has a small one to take everywhere. It's funny to me because the boys were never attached to anything like that, except the binkie. Hannah is just so cute and precious!!

Moving
The lease on our current home is up in August so (sparing you all the decision making details) we are moving 15 miles northwest to reduce Taylor's commute from 60 minutes to 20 minutes. We are very excited about the prospect of him being home at 5:30 instead of 6:00...for those with young children you know what a difference that 30 minutes can really make. And we're excited for it.
We are again going to be renting...due to the fact that a) we have an unstable job, b) we don't want to buy a house in Colorado for reasons which will remain unknown...=] (right?)
Our new home has a HUGE backyard...probably we have a 1/4 acre which is massive compared to our last two homes. Very excited about that and it's in a 1950s neighborhood so tall beautiful trees and all brick homes (standard in TX, not so standard in CO). The inside has been updated and is very nice. It's about the same size as our current home...the master is a lot smaller so Taylor and I are crowding together, but the boys' room is really big, probably bigger than the master. Only a one car garage, but we decided for the 20 minutes drive we'll take it. Tons of room downstairs for Taylor to have a woodworking workshop and now he'll have over an hour more a day in his life.
Already have James signed up for a new preschool (Kendrick Lakes) and Matthias in gymnastics. Talked to a couple members of the primary presidency and I think we're good to go. We move August 15.
James comments about the move...
"All the floor is wood so we can eat everywhere."
Me: I'm worried about you.
James: I'll just make new friends. I make new friends every time we move. In Texas I had Fencer (Spencer) and now I have Kylie.
One of Taylor's co workers (about 40 yrs old) was saying he and his wife have a combined total of 63 moves. We found this incredulous until I realized this will be my 19th move even having lived in the same house from 7 to 18. And James is on his 6th move. Only this time we get to move ourselves...

Love Story
While James and I were shopping for a back pack Taylor & Hannah put together a play list of slow songs for dancing (Matthias was apparently running around the room shouting, "I a knight I a knight I a knight"). So after the kids were in bed and asleep Taylor surprised me by putting the music on (with our sweet surround sound computer) and we danced. It was so cute and fun.
2/3 the way through the first song we hear the toilet flush.
And of course who do we find...Matthias who does still wear diapers (long, long story). But apparently he needed to use the bathroom, he frequently does.
After that though we really did remain uninterrupted and it was a great evening dancing together and eating ice cream, of course.

James Speak
(I have more pics, but we're taking a break for James' funnies)
When Hannah is bigger but still has really fat cheeks. Like when she's 2, can we make a Hannah? We can use the guy with really fat cheeks. A Wii Hannah.
Kristi: Do you think people are mammals? Are we warm?
James: Yeah.
Kristi: Do we grow hair?
James: Yeah.
Kristi: Do people mommies make milk for their babies?
James: No. They make formula.
James: I have an idea. Let's pack all our stuff. And our tent. And go to a rain forest.
Me: That's a really good idea, but rain forests are all far away from here.
James: We can just drive some and then rest and then drive some more the next day and then stop and then drive some more.
Why do we have to wear a seat belt? We've never been in a crash.
(while talking with James about being a better listener)
James: Did you have a session like this with Matt?

Urie Family
My brother Scott holding his baby Stephanie (7 months) and Hannah (4 months). The were about the same size, Steph was just a little longer.
Thanksgiving Point pics. I don't have any of the dinosaur museum since like 6 other people had camaras. I'll post some of their pics at a later date.
Playing the cousin Stephanie and Grandpa. And a picture of Steph for those who've asked me what she looks like.
This is the only picture from the temple I have. We have other cute ones of all the grandkids on my mom's camara. And yes this is a five inch flower...it's so cute! Basically every usher we walked by (male or female) commented on how cute she was and how cute her flower was and how adorable she was. It was pretty funny. She is cute, what can I say?

We're Back
Just returned from a great trip to Utah. We had a blast and did tons and tons of stuff. And played the Wii. A lot. Too bad we don't have a tv...no Wii for us. =] The trip started with a family reunion at a cabin in Ogden canyon. Just Taylor's immediate family and it was so fun! We relaxed and played. Our kids slept until 6. Or even 6:30. It was great.
Then we spent several days with my family...swimming, Dinosaur Museum/Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point, Oquirrh Temple Open House. We had a great time spending time with them and got to see my dad a lot. Also Scott, Mindy, and Stephanie spent a lot of time with us. The Dinosaurs were fun and the boys loved riding horses/ponies at Farm Country. The temple was beautiful and James really enjoyed being inside. It was a wonderful experience taking my children through the temple and the feeling there.
Then we had a baby shower for Lesley (our newest cousin is coming in October) and the next day was Cameron's birthday which was spent playing Wii, jumping on the tramp, and of course eating.
Friday began our 4th of July festivities. Also my beloved high school Granite High is closing so we attended an open house, walking through the school and remembering all my great moments there...=] Then off to see the firework show which Hannh slept through the entire thing, loud music and all. The boys LOVED it. Taylor and I have a hard time with crowds and all the lovely experiences that come with crowds. I got to see Meg and Mike...two of my really good friends from high school. As well as Maren & Eric, Lauren, Doug, etc. Very fun.
Saturday was another BBQ and sparklers with Grandma Harvey. Then home again on Sunday.
The boys slept until 6:30 most mornings. Our last morning in Utah Matthias & Hannah woke up at 7:30, I woke James up at 8:30 so we could leave. It was heaven! Everyone was up by 7 today, but maybe it will last for a week or so.
We decided we are probably not taking the 11 hour drive to Yellowstone this year but will save that experience for another year and go somewhere closer for our family vacation. The drive actually wasn't bad, we just had to stop 4 times!! And if you know me you know that is unexceptable. Two times is plenty. But with all the poopy diapers, bathroom breaks, etc. Plus you're always needing to stop for someone when someone else just fell asleep. It was long! Only took 9 hours, but still.
The rest of the week I'll post pics of the trip. With little narration so it will be easier for you to skim my posts...=]
