My Christmas gift just arrived today to further hinder my posting.
(fyi: last night we had turkey, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, cranberries, eggnog, and chocolate cream pie for dinner, so I'm doing much better)

One of those mornings
Did I mention that Matthias ate toothpaste this morning and while I was on the phone with Poison Control he dumped the entire contents of my purse on the floor. 20 minutes later when we were late for tumbling he turned off the computer I was searching for a book on (since we were driving by the library) and while in the public restroom pulled out the toilet paper and threw it around the stall. (I love using the restroom with toddlers). Just now I went in the bedroom to get something for James to find Matthias sleeping peacefully.
With the curtain on top of him because he apparently pulled it down and broke the rod.
Hope your kids are just as busy as mine. Otherwise you might stay sane.

Just plain tired.
I'm ornery, I'm annoyed, my children have about 50 times more energy than me at this point. I have already been having back ache and rib pain for at least a month. Heartburn just started a couple days ago. I have at minimum 14 weeks to go. Knowing me it will be 16. I don't feel like posting. I'm cold. I miss Texas. I'm ignoring my blog. If you hadn't noticed.
Hoping to get over this after Thanksgiving. Pie can solve a lot of problems.

Dinosaurs and the Moon

Delta Petroleum had a company day at the Natural History Museum here. We took the boys and had a lot of fun. The Museum was a really good one with lots of fun displays. The Space area was really neat and the boys loved being astronauts on the moon. We also saw a show in the planetarium. But near the end Matthias started crying and saying "scared" so I had to take him out. It was just a silly cartoon, but for some reason it was bugging him.
The dinosaur exhibit was also pretty neat. The boys loved looking at all the bones and of course climbing on the displays...=]
There were also TONS of exhibits with stuffed animals which the boys thought were really neat and a gems and mineral room. Plus the mummies which James thought were great.
We spent four hours looking at everything and we had no stroller and no bags!! Family outings are so much fun now and getting to be less work. Guess that's why we're having another one right? Getting too easy around here...=]

Applesauce
The boys and I made some applesauce Monday morning and I canned it that afternoon. It's mighty tasty. I bet you wish you could have some.

25 weeks
So this picture is actually from 24 weeks, but I'm 25 weeks now. One of our friends did a bet with her husband when she was pregnant that if he got within 5 lbs of her (by her gaining and him losing) that he would get $200. If not she got it. For whatever they wanted to buy.
I'm trying to convince Taylor that whoever is the heaviest come baby day gets $100 but he just won't go for it!
Because he knows I can take him.

Our Festivities
Carving pumpkins for FHE on Monday...James named our pumpkin Jose.Halloween Sugar Cookies on Thursday night...
Music Makers on Friday where we all dressed up and sang lots of Halloween songs. (start your own where you live...it's so fun!!)
Trick-or-Treat
Matthias was SO cute saying trick or treat. Whenever we went to a house he would stick his hand in their candy bowl and take handfuls at a time...he really got into the free candy thing. I asked him to say trick or treat for me and he said "trick or treat for me"
Before we left Matthias climbed up to our candy bowl and started filling his pumpkin while saying 'trick or treat'...We only had to take away about half of the candy because it was too sticky, hard, chewy, etc for four capped teeth. James was really good about it and kept saying, "I have enough candy" or "I can't eat that" He did a great job!
Now that it's over may I just say that I do not like Halloween!! I personally am not the dressing up type and my kids dress up EVERY day, so they don't need a special holiday for it. First thing every morning it's down to the toy room to decide who to be that day. And until those baby teeth fall out in about 5-6 years Halloween candy is just going to make me have headaches. Hopefully James continues to be as agreeable as he was this year.
